(Chicago, IL - 5.p.m. localt time)We inside a winebar called Sam’s liquor. Shehla wanted to have a drink and I went along and got myself a nice Brooklyn brewery black chocolate stout with super-dark richness. Check this!
I got wireless and thought this might be the perfect update before a historic night.
Already hundreds of people were heading towards Grant Park and the atmosphere was chilled and sunny with a perfect sunset. A lot of international press was strolling around everywhere. In 30 min I have to take the other entrance (for the press people) and split up from Shehla, who has general public tickets - so she will watch from the other side.
The energy is great and the turnout is gonna be expected to bring 1 million locals to watch this countdown tonight.
