Solar breakthrough insights

(Berlin, Germany - 7.30 p.m. local time)
While McCain and Obama discuss their faith and Christian values at the Saddleback Church, there seems to be so many more things going on during this week. MIT experts make new solar discoveries, the Russians invade Georgia, Michelle talks about fashion and family. In this big circus of worldly events, who can really keep track what is going on inside China, Zimbabwe and Darfur - where the media normally focuses its spotlight.

What needs to be done to improve lives and bring some wise solutions? The complexity of the world is so high now that most of us are unable to process the influx of daily informations and make a solid evaluation. What we hear and see is mostly filtered and we repeat the news brought to us by CNN, BBC and what not... Think we can pass for clever and informed? We might be acting like apes that get fruits if they mimic and repeat what was taught - we get similar food by broadcast trainers...

It looks as if Obama’s careful and nuanced considerations, when asked by Pastor Rick Warren about moral issues, reflect the complexity and precarious moments in our human society better than McCains soldier answers. The big advantage McCain has is the Vietnam story that he milks all the time. Maybe this election is a delusion of change. We are compensating our barbarian nature just better and disguise in debates our fear and aggressive nature with some sort of religious values, new age spiritual insights and promised technological salvation. Voters then have a choice to repeat what they can comprehend.
