Amy Goodman interviews Obama in NYC
(Berlin, Germany - 2.40 a.m. local time)
I am deeply entrenched in the editing process and just listened to Obama’s New Hampshire speech again. It was a blast to hear his words again, two month after they became immortalized - through the campaign song “Yes, We Can” from Will.I.AM.
Its been an easy roller coaster of straight edits, where I have chopped down 40 hours of footage to 9h so far...so good.
I also managed to cut a special 8 min version for a youth magazine called Fluter.de - that focuses on the generation Y and their statements during my journey across the country.
I hope it will find the same emotional response, that I had when I saw how youngsters get involved - ready to put those Obama ideas into actions. No time for cynics...
The days are getting warmer and longer - my winter hat from Des Moines, Iowa landed in my letterbox, as I rushed outside the house in a hurry.
