What do peeps feel in Berlin?

(Berlin, Germany - 12.20 a.m. local time)
After a major setback in Ohio and Texas - Obama bounces back in Wyoming just now. I have almost been speechless by the events that unfolded after the long counting in Texas. It seems the working class and the women voters play safe and do not like to support challenges that come in the form of political change.
It was a clear sign that Obama’s campaign can not get complacent and victorious. I think they learned their lesson and will work harder.
In the meantime I got out of my comfort zone editing chair on a rainy cold day in Berlin with homeboy Hannes. He helped me doing those interviews by cycling through rain from the other side of town. We were both hanging around the Brandenburg Gate and hunted down Berlin tourists who were trying to kill rain time. It was pretty amazing that those who would talk to us, in fact all new what was going on to some detail. Especially, the young cats from Hannover were amazingly well informed. It seems they learn something in school these days...of course it’s all corporate American culture we live in, but nevertheless I was impressed by the variety of opinions.
The energy on that rather dull and boring evening was lifted up with optimism and spirit of Obama girl. We all did not know yet, that Hillary would bounce back vividly (a couple of hours later). We had a good time pondering on the chances of a black president nominated for the top job on the other side of the world. Guess you figure out for yourself, what they think about Hillary watching my podcast...
