Sweet Potato Pie in SC

The last 24 hours were a blast! I travelled from DC to Columbia, South Carolina within a day. Stop over at night in Raleigh, NC - touching base with Andre for a hook up to sleep at Santos’(Andre’s friend) house. A straight drive to Columbia to feel the vibes and get some potato pie. A warm afternoon sun greeted me together with Zach, who volunteers now on the Obama campaign in SC now. I met him in Iowa and will meet him next week in New York again. He hooked me up with some locals and we were able to see some action for the built up at night.
So instead of a commentary and my usual bla...bla..., I let you see some pictures as a slideshow that bring together the feeling of my afternoon. I am exhausted but happy, that momentum has been built with the friendly people of South Carolina.
