Chicago fudge on a Friday night

Chicago, O’Hare Airport, Illinois - 3 a.m. local time)
We had a wild 6 hour drive from Des Moines, Iowa to Chicago downtown. My buddy Zach, a student from Los Angeles is fast asleep inside the car. I am getting tired after a big meal of Spaghetti with Chilli (a “3 platter” with a brownie and a massive mountain of chocolate fudge). The restaurant, Famous for Steakburgers, has a Mexican lady in the kitchen, who wanted to do me a favor and over did it with the fudge portions. I am on a sugar rush. Brown sugar...white sugar, Mexican sugar?
Zach (26) is fired up and ready to go! We were talkin’ about what it means for him if Obama does win. How is generation (Y) benefiting from Obama as president? Zach is a Christian and thinks it’s the hope that keeps it alive. He tries to jump on to the campaign trail and work for them.
I told him about that young girl I interviewed in L.A., who said Obama for president and Hillary as vice. That shook him up and shifted his perception. He had never considered this one.
I think its realistic. Obama with his vision for America and Hillary as the pragmatic diplomat and insider that negotiates deals with her charm. It could be a powerful combination for the rest of the world in finding balance between establishment and grass-roots approach. Of course there are huge egos involved and I guess she would not accept it, but Obama could need her help with keeping the corporate hyenas at bay.
Anyway, enough politics. I am gonna rest inside the car for an hour before I return my car to fly out to Boston via Washington. Another day is kicking in...
